Help
I really really want to do a blog of my adventures in being a stay at home mom....but I need HELP! How do I make my page look pretty, how do I add tickers on the side, how do I post it to facebook so that anyone reads it and can help me, so many 'how do I's'. Can you help me?

His hands
Carl's hands provide for our family. They change diapers, wipe noses, bathe kiddos, do dishes, change sheets, deliver mail. And they are so so nice to hold and to be touched by.

His arms
I love Carl's arms. They hold me when I am sad and have the power to comfort. They are strong enough to hold both girls, the diaper bag and whatever else needs to be carried.

Carl
So, here is day 1 of my 14 day journey into "what I love about Carl."
I love that Carl is the consummate family man. He would rather spend time with me and the girls then do most other things in this world. I love that he wants to be with us, play with us, and create memories with us.

Not so hard really...is it
It is really not so hard to post something on this blog every once in a while...perhaps even every 6 months, so why don't I do it? I sit here on the computer each day looking at other peoples blogs and get so sad when they don't have anything new posted...and yet neither do I. So my March resolution is going to be to put something on here at least 2 times a week. Now I will just have to think of witty and funny or interesting things to write...yikes!!!
I know!!! As an homage to my friend Emily, who in February wrote 14 things she liked about her husband, I am going to do the same thing....although, I am going to be gone on our women's retreat this weekend, so I will have to start the list on Monday.
Well....that is all for now, I hear a diet coke, some popcorn, an orange and some TV calling my name...or maybe it is really Cassidy crying, either way, gotta go.

Where does the time go?

What are you looking at??

So it feels like I just posted a blog the other day, but as I looked back, I realized that it was in September and I just have to think "where does the time go?"
Life has been hectic and busy here at the Nielsen house.
Carl just finished working nights at the Puyallup Fair, which left me and the girls on our own for 17 days and nights.
I have begun tutoring (again) in the evenings, which leaves Carl home alone with the girls 4 nights a week...bless his heart!
With fall comes the endless stream of things to do...art class, story time, MOPS, preschool etc etc etc.
Cassidy turned 6 months at the end of September. She can sit up, loves to grab and play with her toys, and will put anything in her mouth. At her 6 month check up she was 14 lbs 9.5 oz. and was in the 25%. She loves to laugh and smile. We were so blessed with an awesome photographer for her 6 month pics. We are having family pics taken this weekend and I will post those.
Here are some pics of the girls...enjoy. Until next time...
