Where does the time go?

What are you looking at??

So it feels like I just posted a blog the other day, but as I looked back, I realized that it was in September and I just have to think "where does the time go?"

Life has been hectic and busy here at the Nielsen house.

Carl just finished working nights at the Puyallup Fair, which left me and the girls on our own for 17 days and nights.

I have begun tutoring (again) in the evenings, which leaves Carl home alone with the girls 4 nights a week...bless his heart!
With fall comes the endless stream of things to do...art class, story time, MOPS, preschool etc etc etc.
Cassidy turned 6 months at the end of September. She can sit up, loves to grab and play with her toys, and will put anything in her mouth. At her 6 month check up she was 14 lbs 9.5 oz. and was in the 25%. She loves to laugh and smile. We were so blessed with an awesome photographer for her 6 month pics. We are having family pics taken this weekend and I will post those.

Here are some pics of the girls...enjoy. Until next time...

Back to school

So it is that time of year again...back to school...and it always brings me a little sadness not to go back to school (teaching that is). I love my girls, and I love staying home with them, but time kind of goes on and on. Weekends are no longer the time for relaxing and fun, everyday can be for that. Monday is not the start of the week, really, and September is no different than any other month, except that it is the start of the rain!

We have had a terrific summer and I am looking forward to a fun fall. Hopefully Cassidy will start crawling and Cayleigh just keeps getting bigger, smarter and more beautiful everyday!

OK, here it goes. I thought since so many of my friends have blogs that I would try to do it also. I want to think that I don't have the time, but people with more kiddos than I have time, so I do too!! Plus this gives me something other than housework and tv watching to do while my sweet little angels sleep!

Today has been a day full of cleaning (Carl had two weeks off

and therefore I got absolutely no housework done) and trying to sell stuff on craigslist so that I can park in my garage again. I am trying to sell a dog kennel and am nervously awaiting the lady to come pick it up....will I see her coming? Will the dogs bark and wake up the children? Will she stiff me and force me to repost my little dog kennel on craigslist again. UPDATE...she just called, she will be here in 20 minutes. Hopefully the girls are up by then and I don't have to sit on the porch and wait for her...LOL!

That is my post for today...a good first try I must say.

Enjoy, and i will post more later.
